定义 指在英语阅读中,识别文本隐含的文化背景、价值观及社会习俗,并据此推断作者意图的能力。

从哪来 它建立在 5.2 主体写作 之上。写作是输出,阅读是输入,理解写作中的文化逻辑是解读阅读材料的前提。

为什么 语言是文化的载体。英语阅读题常考查“言外之意”,若学生仅停留在词汇和语法层面,无法理解作者为何选择特定词汇或句式。只有掌握英语国家的主流价值观(如个人主义、直接表达等),才能准确推断作者态度,避免用中文思维误读文本。

文化对比法
选取中西方典型差异场景(如“个人空间”vs“集体和谐”)。展示同一事件在英美文章和中国文章中的不同描述,让学生对比用词差异(如 "privacy" vs "closeness")。
适合:对文化背景陌生、习惯用中文逻辑套解英语题的学生。
态度词溯源法
整理高频态度词(如 skeptical, enthusiastic, critical),分析其背后的文化心理。例如,解释为何西方媒体常用 "skeptical" 而非 "doubtful",强调批判性思维的文化根基。
适合:词汇量尚可,但在推断作者态度题上得分率低的学生。
语境重构法
给出一个去语境化的句子,让学生补充可能的文化背景(如宗教、历史、法律),再还原到原文中验证。训练学生从“字面义”跳跃到“文化义”的思维路径。
适合:逻辑推理能力强,但缺乏具体文化常识储备的学生。
